List.js
Do you want a 7 KB cross-browser native JavaScript that makes your plain HTML lists super flexible, searchable, sortable and filterable? Yeah! Do you also want the possibility to add, edit and remove items by dead simple templating? Hell yeah!
Font Hipsters
John Gruber on the Helvetica ripoff and new Android system-font Roboto:
If Apple chose a font as ugly as Roboto as the system font for iOS, both type and UI designers would be driven into apoplexy with rage. We love great design and beautiful things, and Apple tends to produce great design and beautiful things — we don’t blindly love Apple and claim all it produces is great.
Even more brilliant:
We criticize Android for being poorly designed because it’s poorly designed. We favor iOS because it’s better designed. That’s it.
Google+ for Android app (hands-on)
